UdC (Unione di Centro = Union of the Centre)

In 2008, the UDCformed an alliance with the Rosa Bianca and a couple of smaller parties, named Unione di Centro. It seems deliberate, that both organizations (UDC and UdC) have names and logos that easily can be confounded. The UdC was part of Monti's centrist coalition for the February 2013 elections, receiving 8 seats in the Camera dei Deputati and 2 seats in the Senato.
The logo has been a version of the evolved UDC symbol (with the inscription Unione di Centro instead of UDC), usually with Casini's name in the chief; only recently, the inscription ITALIA has been introduced instead. This latter logo is also shown on the most recent flags [7,8,9].
